GHRH Analog

Sermorelin

GHRH analog that stimulates pituitary GH release — one of the original growth hormone secretagogues.

VIAL IMAGE NEEDED

What It Is

Sermorelin is a GHRH analog that signals the pituitary gland to release growth hormone. It is one of the original GH secretagogues and is often used as part of anti-aging and recovery protocols. It can be paired with GHK-Cu for a combined collagen/skin + GH protocol.

Mechanism of Action

Sermorelin acts on the GHRH receptor in the anterior pituitary, stimulating the natural synthesis and release of endogenous growth hormone. As one of the earliest GHRH analogs developed, it has a well-characterized safety profile and remains a foundational compound in GH optimization protocols.

Key Benefits

Endogenous GH elevation
Recovery enhancement
Anti-aging support
Improved sleep quality
Pairs well with GHK-Cu

Dosing Protocol

Tier Dose Frequency Notes
Starting 100–250 mcg Nightly (before bed, fasted) Begin here to assess tolerance
Moderate 250–300 mcg Nightly Standard protocol dose
High 500 mcg – 2 mg Nightly Advanced — monitor IGF-1

Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off

Cycle Length: 12–24 weeks + 4–8 week washout

Route: Subcutaneous injection, fasted, before bed

Protocol Notes

Do NOT combine with another GHRH analog (e.g., CJC-1295). They act on the same receptor pathway — there is no added benefit, only increased side-effect risk.

Safety & Side Effects

Possible side effects:
  • Water retention
  • Joint stiffness
  • Injection site redness

Monitor IGF-1 levels at 6 weeks and adjust dose accordingly. If IGF-1 is elevated above range, reduce dose or pause the protocol.
